The Pinellas County Tax Collector acts as an agent of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for the sale of hunting licenses, fresh and salt-water fishing licenses, waterfowl stamps, and game management permits.
Visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) or call 1-888-347-4356 to purchase a hunting & fishing license.
Important information about hunting and fishing permits:
- Popular licenses may be obtained from subagents, such as sport stores, bait and tackle shops and some department stores.
- Most licenses are annual and expire 12 months from the issue date.
- Anyone born on or after June 1, 1975, must have passed an approved hunter education course before he can be licensed to take wildlife in Florida.
- An application for a disability fishing license may be obtained from your local Tax Collector office and must be mailed to Tallahassee.
