Examination 
Vision examinations are provided at no charge.
 
 
 
Class E:
Written examinations include two parts, road signs and road rules.
Initial examinations are provided at no charge.
There will be a $10.00 charge for each written re-examination and a $20.00 charge for each driving re-examination.
 
 
Class A, B OR C: (CDL’S)
A general knowledge written examination is required. Initial written examinations are provided at no charge.
Additional examinations may be required based on the weight and type of vehicle.
There will be a $10.00 charge for each written re-examination and a $20.00 charge for each driving re-examination.  Please note that Pinellas County Tax Collector offices do not provide commercial road tests.
