Renew your driver license here

Pinellas County Tax Collector Diane Nelson offers driver license renewals online through the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. DHSMV requires customers to confirm their identity with a U.S. Social Security number. Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards are all accepted for online renewals.

Note:

• Customers who last renewed online or through the mail, and non-US citizens  with temporary legal status, will not be able to renew online. These customers will need to visit one of our office locations  to renew their license.


• Because of vision requirements, CDL holders are not eligible to renew online.
   
• For your security, the state now requires additional information from your driver license/ID or registration.
