How can I check the status of my Driver License?

You can check the status of your Florida Driver License by going to https://www6.hsmv.state.fl.us/DLCheck/main.jsp, or http://www.hsmv.state.fl.us/ and clicking on "Driver License Check." Just key in your driver license number and check to see if your license is valid.

How can I get a copy of my driving record?

This web site offers you the ability to purchase a history record via the internet or U.S. Mail.

Driver license transcripts may also be purchased at the Pinellas County Clerk of the Circuit Court’s Criminal Court Customer Services Departments located at the Criminal Justice Building, 14250 49th St., N., Clearwater; the North County Branch , located at 29582 U.S. 19 N., Clearwater; and the Clerk’s Tyrone Branch , located at 1800 66th St., N.  There is a $14.00 fee for a three-year history transcript and a $16.00 fee for a seven-year history transcript. Citizens can only request and/or purchase their own driver license transcript and must present a valid form of identification with both a valid picture and signature.
